So, you’ve had a Fat Cavitation treatment, now what?

It’s no secret that we’re obsessed with body contouring treatments. Drink the waterfall

The process of Fat Cavitation works by eliminating fats and toxins through your lymphatic and urinary systems across three days. This means, that during those three days, you need to be supporting this process by increasing your water intake and providing these systems the fuel they need to be effective.

Prior to your treatment, we encourage you to drink at least 1.5L of water to kick off this process and 2L each day post-treatment to keep it going. Large 2L drink bottles are a fantastic investment to keep that intake up and track your progress (they also make a pretty good hand weight!).

Eat the rainbow

Just like you wouldn’t visit McDonalds after a Body Pump class, it goes without saying that avoiding highly processed foods and sugars post any body contouring treatment is a must.

During a fat cavitation treatment, our ultrasound technology is breaking down your fat cells. This disruption causes triglycerides, a major type of fat in our body, to release into liquid and further breakdown which is then removed by your body.

To ensure this process works efficiently and effectively, you need to stick to a clean diet to ensure these triglycerides work their magic. Swap processed foods and carb-rich foods like white rice and pasta for fresh fruit, vegetables and wholegrains during this post-cavitation process for best results.

Pump it up!

As much as we’d love to say we’ve found the secret to exercise-free slimming, this isn’t it. You’ll need to get your heart rate pumping for at least 20 minutes after your Fat Cavitation treatment to ensure the energy released by the Fat Cavitation treatment is burnt off.

Now, this doesn’t mean you need to become an elite athlete overnight! 20 minutes of brisk walking with a friend, stepping, skipping or your favourite gym class are perfectly suitable options to support your treatment results.

If cardio isn’t your style or you’re looking to enhance your treatment results further, step into an infrared sauna for a sweat session.
